If you are traveling to Durham for the conference, here is some information that might be helpful to you in your planning:

Flights

The local airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).

Depending on traffic, RDU is approximately a 25 minute drive to Duke’s main campus.

Book your flights so that you arrive in time for the Wednesday evening (January 31) Cocktail Kickoff-off Party is from 5:30-7:00pm at the Washington Duke Inn.

Transportation From the Airport to the Hotel

Taxis are readily available as are ridesharing services, such as Lyft and Uber.

Transportation services pick up is located in the brown limo zones outside bag claim in each terminal.

Hotel

The official hotel for the conference is the Washington Duke Inn, affectionately known as WaDuke, (3001 Cameron Boulevard), is a short walk through campus to the conference venue, Penn Pavilion. The welcome reception on January 31 will take place at the WaDuke and shuttle service between the WaDuke and the Karsh Alumni Center with be provided on February 1 for the Reception and Fireside Chat. The WaDuke conference roomblock has expired, however you can still contact them for rooms, based on their current availability and pricing. NOTE: There is a Duke/UNC men’s basketball game on Saturday, February 3, so room availability may be limited. The WaDuke is able to accept reservations by telephone or by online reservations:
