About the Conference

Digital Assets at Duke (DA@D) will convene key industry players in the digital assets space, regulatory experts, and select researchers for two days of rigorous debate, discussion and education on Duke’s campus in Durham, North Carolina. By facilitating interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration in an academic setting, DA@D seeks to look past the hype cycle and price fixation that accompanies many digital asset events and instead focus on the development, delivery and regulation of the next generation digital asset environment.

Hosted by Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering and the Duke Financial Economics Center, this two-day conference will feature individual speakers and panels and highlight academic papers in the field of digital assets selected through a call for submissions. Speakers and participants will explore new frontiers of digital asset development, investment, and regulation. Topics covered will include: NFTs, cryptocurrency, DeFi, stable coins, central bank digital currency, and more. The conference will provide ample opportunities to converse, network, and exchange ideas with peers, colleagues, experts, and leaders in the digital assets ecosystem.
