If you are traveling to Durham for the conference, here is some information that might be helpful to you in your planning:

Flights

The local airport is Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU).

Depending on traffic, RDU is approximately a 25 minute drive to Duke’s main campus.

Book your flights so that you arrive in time for the Wednesday evening (February 4) Cocktail Kickoff-off Party is from 5:30-8:30pm, at the Champions Club at Cameron Indoor Stadium.

Transportation From the Airport to the Hotel

Taxis are readily available as are ridesharing services, such as Lyft and Uber.

Transportation services pick up is located in the brown limo zones outside bag claim in each terminal.

Hotel

There are two hotels conveniently located on the Duke University campus, just steps away from the conference venue:

Parking

Parking is self-pay (at $2.00/hour; cash, credit, debit are accepted; BlueSpot is available in select lots). The following three lots are closest to the conference venue, Penn Pavilion:

  • Bryan Center Garage – enter off of Science Drive near the Bryan Center. BlueSpot enabled.
  • Science Drive Visitor Lot – enter off of Science Drive near the Fuqua School of Business. BlueSpot enabled.
  • Science Drive Garage – enter off Science Drive near the JB Duke Hotel. Pull an entry ticket, before returning to your vehicle, pay at an automated pay station. Daily maximum $12
