Head of Central Public Policy
Sam Swartz is Head of Policy Development and Strategy at Stripe. He helped start the company’s policy team and over the past seven years has held a number of roles, including leading the US and Central Policy functions. He teaches on law and technology at UC Berkeley Law School. Sam previously held roles in the Obama White House, at Google, and for CA Attorney General Kamala Harris. He holds a B.A. from Duke University and a J.D. from UC Berkeley Law.
