Roy is the Digital Assets Financial Services leader for Deloitte Advisory. He has been a consultant in the financial services industry for over 23 years and brings deep industry experience and a background leading large scale integration programs supporting business, compliance, risk, regulatory and technology  transformation initiatives. 

Roy’s engagements in the digital assets space include assisting industry working group test the viability of commercial bank deposit tokens and a wholesale central bank digital currency (wCBDC) operate on a shared DLT infrastructure. He  also supported projects related to the tokenization of assets, regulatory applications, assisting clients enhance their blockchain and digital asset risk & control frameworks, and supporting clients build business models the allow for buy-hold/custody-sell and lend digital assets.  

Prior to that Roy led projects in the areas of operations, risk management and governance focusing on assessing, improving and transforming the way organizations approach risk management, compliance and technology, including evaluating  and optimizing the use of data from trade ops, finance, risk and compliance as well as the related supporting processes, methodologies, and controls. 

Roy has authored several papers on digital assets risks and is guest speaker/lecturer on “Digital Assets Innovation and Regulations” at Fordham Gabelli School of Business.
