Laura Pamatian began her career on the island of Maui in general brokerage and has over 20 years of experience in luxury resort and vertical real estate development. Specializing in investment product, she has represented numerous 5-star, globally recognized brands, including; The Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Auberge Resorts and Grand Hyatt. Pivoting into the blockchain space 3 years ago, she launched HeightZero Real Estate, an advisory firm providing guidance to real estate issuers wanting to future proof their business. Laura is also a key founding member of the growing FIBREE Miami Chapter (fibree.org), and currently Chairs the FBBA’s Real Estate Committee (fbba.io). She works closely with thought leaders in the space to organize initiatives and events to create more public and private sector awareness and understanding of the transformative technology blockchain brings to the Real Estate Industry.
Laura recently joined the seasoned team at Upside as the VP of Tokenization. Upside is a blockchain native tech company creating a marketplace platform to reshape the management and funding of real estate securities. With a decade in the space, the global team emerged from tech giants like Google, Apple and Nasdaq Private Markets. They have compliantly issued almost $2B in tokens to a million plus digital addresses. With headline experience, what sets them apart is a partner network that includes powerhouse companies like Republic and INX, boasting over 3M investors across 150 countries along with an integrated secondary market that trades digital assets 24/7/365.
With a passion for decentralizing the human identity, Laura believes blockchain technology is the 4th industrial revolution. Furthermore, the democratization of real estate, which will contribute to the redistribution of wealth across developed, undeveloped and underdeveloped nations, drives her forward every day.
