Head of Financial Institutions Group
Joe Medioli is the Head of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) at Anchorage Digital, responsible for driving the business strategy across Anchorage Digital’s offerings for Wealth Managers, Asset Managers, Banks and FIs. He is also responsible for the Atlas settlement network and product suite focused on custody, settlement, lending and collateral management solutions. Joe joined Anchorage Digital in 2022 and brings over 12 years of experience in financial services strategy consulting with Promontory Financial Group, an IBM Company, where he advised banks, cryptonatives, fintechs, and foreign financial institutions on a wide range of strategic, regulatory, risk management, and compliance issues. Most recently, Joe led the Digital Assets Practice at Promontory, where he supported traditional financial institutions as they developed digital asset risk and compliance programs. He also advised crypto-native firms on executing strategic licensing initiatives and building regulatory compliance risk and compliance programs. Joe has an AB in History from Harvard University and an MSc in Management Research from Saïd Business School, Oxford University.
