Carlos works at The Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), a financial market infrastructure company, as a Director and Sr Principal Engineer in the IT organization (Team: Technology Research and Innovation). His main focus is on new product development and web3 tech capabilities using DLT & Blockchain technology. Before joining DTCC, Carlos worked at ConsenSys, the product software company founded by Joseph Lubin (co-founder of Ethereum Foundation) and creator of Web3 products such as MetaMask, Infura and Truffle. Carlos joined the blockchain space in late 2014 experimenting with Bitcoin blockchain for version control of documents. Carlos has a Computer Science’s degree, a Master’s degree in Innovation Management, and a PhD in Innovation Economics.
