Benjamin S. Kaplan (“Benjamin”) is a founder and Co-CEO of Prometheum Inc., in addition to being the CEO of its digital asset broker-dealers, Prometheum ATS and Prometheum Capital. Benjamin’s expertise is in the intersection between digital assets and the federal securities laws, spanning over nearly a decade which in part led to the founding of Prometheum, Inc. in 2017. Benjamin was formerly a Partner at Gusrae Kaplan Nusbaum PLLC where his legal practice focused on securities, corporate and commercial law. With a concentration on FINRA/SEC enforcement and regulatory matters, Benjamin gained experience in broker-dealer and clearing firm regulations and operations, in addition to other broker-dealer related areas. Benjamin is an attorney and a member of the Bar of the State of New York. Benjamin holds a Series 7, Series 24 and Series 99 license.
