Anthony Vassallo

Anthony Vassallo is the Director of Crypto at First Citizens Innovation Banking. He has spent ten years at the bank, and eight years bridging traditional banking and digital assets. Anthony approaches crypto with optimism forged through skepticism, cutting through hype to support builders solving real problems. At heart, Anthony is a Bitcoiner.

Prior to his current role, Anthony was a VP of Product Management focused on commercial lending. Anthony also has experience in underwriting and portfolio management, supporting technology companies across all growth stages.

Born and raised in Silicon Valley and now based in Austin, Anthony earned a post-graduate fellowship, master’s degree in entrepreneurship and innovation, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
